Starting on the west end of Willy Street with Machinery Row Bicycles and Sardine Restaurant and ending just east of the Yahara River and Mickey’s Tavern, the ten block long stretch known locally as Willy Street, or more formally as Williamson Street, is the heart of an iconic neighborhood just east of the capital square in downtown Madison. Locally famous for its wide variety of restaurants, diverse and friendly residents, numerous shops and salons, and fun nightlife bars, Willy Street Neighborhood is a great place to live.
